About

This is an undergraduate specialized course in Allied Health Science. It is a 3 year Full Time undergraduate course with one year ROTATORY compulsory internship. which provides proficiency to individuals and candidates in diagnosing, treating & preventing disease through the usage of clinical laboratory tests.

The course is structured to train students in Applying Theoretical & Clinical Skills & enabling them to understand essential concepts of Cardiac Technology. Students get a chance to earn practical knowledge about advanced & technical equipment related to the functioning of the heart & vascular system.

• A sound knowledge on non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures related to catheterization, balloon angioplasty, valvoplasty, closure of congenital defects, pacemaker implantation, vascular diagnosis and interventions etc. is imparted.


• Training is provided in preparing the patients for monitoring the blood pressure, using ECG equipment for measuring the heartbeat.


• Enabling the students to perform non- invasive procedures such as echocardiography, Holter and Treadmill exercise testing.


• Assisting the cardiologists during the non-invasive procedures.
