The Department of mathematics was established in 2020, Mathematics is defined as the science of quantity and the field of knowledge. It provides us an unlimited scope to perceive problems under three situations-Concrete, Abstract and Intuition. The field of Mathematics today offer, virtually unlimited opportunities for application together with the aesthetic appeal and intellectual challenge and resolving issues in almost any field.

Learning for all is intended to focus on the learning of Mathematics. This is reflected in the large number of careers for which mathematical knowledge is considered to be particularly desirable preparation.

Vision

The Department of Mathematics, has strived to be a centre of excellence in mathematics and computing, and it has been vigorously engaged in research, teaching and training.

Mission

The mission of the mathematics department is to provide a supportive environment where students can learn and become experts in mathematics, through dedicated teaching and motivation. Moreover, the department will contribute to the development of students as mathematical thinkers, enabling them to pursue internationally recognized research in pure and applied mathematics, and to function as productive and responsible citizens.
